This was me too like I found SO MANY books I could buy recently… but to be fair London has great charity shops. I love it when you find a new release too it's like double points!!

I've heard amazing things about The Night Circus as well! Been on my shelf for ages!!
I need to read DoBaS too!!! Read the first book! So good!
Birdy sounds amazing omg o.O
Ah! So jealous you found American Girls! You totally needed that 2nd copy 😉
American Savage sounds SO DANG GOOD!!!

I have average luck with charity shops finds – once found a signed Ian Rankin – but generally I don't find too much!

I Found a hardback of Soundless for ten cents at a booksale in a warehouse and it was easily the most exciting moment of my book buying life haah

You've got the Bone Season.
OMGGG You're going to be so obsessed once you read it.
As a goal for 2017, I've made it a resolution to stop buying so many books. But i still love watching people haul a lot of books hehe

I once found a complete set of the Harry Potter series in hard cover! each for about 2$. They are in great condition as well. I really like all of the books you found! Whisper to Me was pretty good, I borrowed it from my library.

Aw, this haul is so cool! I hope you enjoy all of them. I will definitely check out those fairytale retellings! The covers were pretty hehe 🙂

Charity shops can be really hit and miss. Sometimes I see loads I want that are good quality and other times there's nothing or the books I want are ripped to shreds. I do want to start going to my local oxfam store more though as i did volunteer in the book shop before I got my paid job.

My best charity shop find was an US ARC of Dramarama by E Lockhart. I have no idea how a US ARC came to be in a little south London charity shop. It's especially weird as Dramarama has never been published here! I recommend volunteering at charity shops for first pick at the donations, I volunteered for a couple of years and bought so many amazing books.

I buy most of my books from the used bookstore, I've found a lot of amazing books there like Landline, Throne off Glass, Poison Study, Cinder, We Were Liars, etc.

all the books you got sound amazing I'm so going to check some of them out! great haul I wish their was a bargain bookstore near me lol and that arc of attachments is gorgeous

I have found many gems in charity shops!!! 🙂 I used to find good things very frequently in the 5 shops in my small town, but it's a bit more between nowadays. But I did find a white copy of The Night Circus, with RED PAGES, once (not in my town), and picked it up, and that was before I had heard anything about it (was right about when I joined booktube) and now I have 3 or 4 different copies, cause I love it so much! 🙂

I've had The Bone Season on my shelves for so long and I really need to get to it. I also need to read The Night Circus and I can't believe I have gone so long without picking it up haha.

The Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is SO GOOD, I hope you enjoy it! I haven't read Attachments yet, but it is on my 2017 TBR. Great book haul! Sometimes I do find things in thrift stores (what we call them here in the states) but its hit or miss for me, as I live in a small town. If I visit a neighboring city, I always look in their shops, and am more likely to find something.

You got some really good charity shop finds! I always love to pop into our local charity shops but am in the same boat; we live in quite a rural area and I only ever seem to get good bargains when I go into the city.

omg you are sooooo lucky! I want an arc from Rainbow! and I found on a charity shop the complete hunger games trilogy in hardcover and in perfect condition

Awesome haul!! I can never seem to find anything in charity shops.. Yard sales however, are usually pretty good for me!

I've found a few really great books in charity shops before! I found a hardcover of Audrey, Wait! and a perfect condition Memoirs of a Teenage Amnesiac. others as well, but for now that's all that's coming to mind :p

Hey! Just letting you know that you can def read Cold Spell as a standalone. Each of the books in the series are standalones based on different fairytale retellings with no real crossover – just set in the same world. Also, FYI, it's actually a Snow Queen telling like Frozen, not a Snow White retelling! 🙂

And Whisper to Me is amazing! It's about a girl with schizophrenia. Beautifully written.

Wonder is a great, heart warming read you're going to love it! and I looove the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy so hopefully that 50p doesn't go to waste 😉

Great haul Kate!! I can't tell you the amount of times I have bought the sequels to books I haven't read yet, but couldn't pass up while in bargain book shops! its a problem haha 😂

Not a fan of the daughter of smoke and bone trilogy but I know so many people who love it. I need to also read the night circus. So glad you got so many great books!

I finished to read Wonder yesterday and I liked it so much,it was an amazing and wonderful book that I read this year.I recommend it so much.It worth to reading!

Birdy seems really interesting!! I haven't read many psychological thrillers, but I love the ones I have read. I wish there were normal English bookshops where I live, let alone charity shops lol. I have to do all my shopping online :')

Great haul I also managed to get a copy of Wonder in a charity shop I've not got around to reading it yet but I'm hoping to soon 🙂

Just started 'Night circus' seriously waited 2 months for the book to arrive, but I am already loving the book! I really want to read 'American girls' and I have just ordered the first book of 'A series of unfortunate events' so excited to read it! Lovely video girl like always <3

YAS THE NIGHT CIRCUS!!!! The Uncommoners looks so cute. Yassss, read A Series of Unfortunate Events. It's not so scary it's actually kind of fun. Isn't it so awesome when you can find so many good books at a charity shop or a used bookstore?

Ooh, I also acquired The Night Circus at a bargain book shop this year and picked it up! I definitely plan on reading it, because it sounds super interesting. (Also, have you heard of Caraval? That book is magical and apparently feels the same as The Night Circus. Can't say for sure but I did love it so thought I'd share!)

Also, you should totally read Daughter of Smoke and Bone. It's incredible! Same goes for Wonder, which I loved. And also The Bone Season.

Happy holidays to you, and happy reading!

Charity shops are either gold mines of goodness or just a Danielle Steel collection, and there's no in-between! Wonder was such a great find and I'm really intrigued by Whisper to Me, for a long book, finding it in a charity shop is such a bargain! – Maddie xox

is everyone hanging out without me is so good i had to read it for school and i really enjoy reading it
her stories are so relatable .most of the i usually find more ya book in hardcover you just need to know where they put them

Wow! You got really lucky I must say 😀 Here in India, we have such places too and I have found such treasures so many times. One can never expect what amazing books can be found, its always such a surprise everytime! And I love the fact that you found The Night Circus..I read it in December itself and its so enchanting, I felt so bad when I finished it. And its same with me in case of A series of Unfortunate Events. haha,

Fantastic selection of books! The Night Circus was lovely, hope you enjoy it! It has the most fabulous imagery in it. The Uncommoners has such a gorgeous cover, excited to hear your thoughts on it when you read it 🙂
