Driver had no valid license before auto auction crash

ON WEDNESDAY. KATHY CURRAN WITH THE DRIVING HISTORY. KATHY: THE 76 EUROS DRIVER HAS NOT HAD A LICENSE SINCE IT EXPIRED IN 2015. SOMETHING THE AUTO AUCTION SAYS THEY DID NOT KNOW. TAKE A LOOK. HIS FIVE-PAGE DRIVING RECORD SHOWS SEVEN ACCIDENTS DATING BACK TO 1987. HIS LICENSE HAS BEEN SUSPENDED FOUR TIMES IN THE LAST — AND THE LESS TIME IN 2012. THERE ARE VIOLATIONS FOR IMPROPER LICENSE PLATES AND FOR NOT HAVING VALID INSPECTIONS. THE STATE CONSIDERS HIM A THREAT FOLLOWING WEDNESDAY’S CRASH AND THEY REVOKED HIS LICENSE. THREE PEOPLE WERE KILLED AND NINE INJURED WHEN THE GP WAS DRIVING SUDDENLY ACCELERATED INTO A CROWD AT THE AUCTION HOUSE. INVESTIGATORS SAY THE ACCELERATION WAS NOT INTENTIONAL BUT IT IS STILL UNCLEAR WHAT CAUSED IT. IN A STATEMENT THE DRIVER DID HAVE A VALID MASSACHUSETTS DRIVER’S LICENSE WHEN THEY HIRED HIM IN 2010. HE HAD NO ISSUES WHILE DRIVING FOR THE COMPANY FOR THE PAST SEVEN YEARS AND THE COMPANY REQUIRES EMPLOYEES WHO DRIVE ON THE PROPERTY WITH — TO BE
